Master royalties are paid on the recording and flow through the label/distributor. Composition royalties are paid separately to the songwriter/publisher and usually sit outside a recording contract, even in most 360 deals — the "distributor %" on that row represents a publishing administration or co-publishing cut rather than a label. Merch and touring are only touched by a label in 360-style deals.

This model simplifies real contracts: it doesn't account for recoupment of advances, cross-collateralization, territory splits, or PRO/mechanical vs. label share nuances in streaming royalties. Use it to compare deal structures directionally, not as a substitute for reviewing an actual contract.
